My New Taco Cookbook Is Coming Out Soon!
By Scotty on Jul 30, 2009 in Taco News
Well, here it is finally, my new taco cookbook from the publisher Sasquatch Books out of Seattle. I met with the editor near Seattle two long years ago to talk about writing this book. I had seen a post on Bandini’s blog The Great Taco Hunt that said Sasquatch was looking for someone to write a taco cookbook. I answered that call, jumped through several hoops, and finally got the gig. By the way, after a two year stretch of no activity (well, two posts actually) Bandini is back! Welcome back, Mr. Taco Badass!
So far, I haven’t identified myself on this blog, other than as Scotty. Well, I’m Scott Wilson, a perfectly Scottish name for a Taco author, right? I’m going to put up a bio page soon so you can find out more about this taco obsessive guy. Speaking of taco obsessive, if you Google those two words, my name comes up first. I’m thinking of having the words tattooed across my hairy chest in Mexican Blackletter.

Hey Scott, speaking of Sasquatch Books….this is Rachel, the intern. We are working to boost our online presence and were hoping you’d be able to post a link to our blog on your site.
Thanks in advance!

thx eric, I made your ancho braised brisket for taco tuesday and it shredded. Sold out 20 lbs in under 2 hrs (in a small town.) self shredding brisket. also you are on cutting edge of tacos de cazuela wave. don’t want to call it a trend because i think tacos de cazuela are here to stay. bayless is doing them now at red o on melrose in la. cazuelas to share! next up i think are tacos de canasta. already in certain spots but still under represented. id=love to talk to you about an international taco congress or congreso international del taco and convene an all inclusive discussion on the 21st century super food.
